Gamescom's Peter Molyneux announced today from Germany that Fable 3 will be coming in late 2010 - likely the holidays - to the XBOX360. The story takes place about 50 years after the first. You will play as the son or the daughter of your Fable 2 hero and start a journey to becoming the ruler of Albion. Some of the new features in the upcoming game include "judgement and touch" where you can decide how certain situations will unfold, more character interaction and more focus will be on the story itself. During the story, you will have to make promises to factions and then later you will have to decide to keep or break those promises. All your decisions will effect what kind of kingdom you will have; poverty/greed, tyranny/compassion or progress/tradition. One of the biggest things mentioned is that after you complete the story, there will still be many things to do - unlike in Fable 2 - however, those details have not been released.
